Where Exactly is Taormina Located?

The bus also services the areas of Giardini Naxos, Taormina, and Letojanni. Departing from Catania, you take the A18 highway to the Taormina bus terminal.
The distance between Taormina and Letojanni is approximately 10-15 minutes. For those who want to enjoy views of the Etna villages and the eastern coast during their journey, there is a line that travels from Catania to Messina, passing through various towns. Naturally, this route takes much longer.
This route is particularly recommended for those arriving by ship at the port of Catania. Upon exiting the port, you will find “the arches,” and passing under one of them and continuing a few meters to the left, you will find the bus stop.
Regarding train travel, departing from Catania Central Station, you can reach Taormina-Giardini Station in just over an hour. However, once you arrive there, you will need to take a bus or taxi to reach the center of Taormina.
