Cefalů parking: this is how blue lines and private parking work

We are well aware of how difficult and complex it is to understand parking in Cefalů. That’s why in today’s article, we decided to talk about Cefalů parking, trying to clarify the blue lines and private parking.

Considering that the fees must be adjusted according to the current prices and also considering the need to establish daily rates for parking, we advise you to pay close attention to these new changes. Taking into account all the various methods of issuing periodic subscriptions for the benefit of citizens, residents/commuters, and non-residents who need them, the daily tariff plan has been approved by the Municipal Council, including all the methods of issuing subscriptions. This tariff plan came into effect a year ago, and we will explain it below.

Let’s find out something more about Cefalů parking: blue lines and payments

First of all, the daily rate on Lungomare Giardina amounts to €10.00 and is the highest, for obvious reasons. For the busy Via Roma in Cefalů, the daily rate is €6.00. As for the hourly rate for parking, it is set at €1.00/hour in the blue zones of Via Roma, Via Pintorno, and the same applies to the multi-level parking lot in Via Verga, near the train station.

Adding to what we have already mentioned above, there are some clarifications to be made as everything changes according to the annual season. For example, Lungomare Giardina 1st section and Via Pintorno from October 1st to April 30th require payment for parking from 9:00 am to 8:00 pm. However, from September 30th onwards, the same streets require payment from 8:00 am to midnight. As for the multi-level parking lot in Via Verga, payment is required from 8:00 am to midnight all year round.

Now let’s talk about the monthly rates. For the subscription reserved for residents regarding the non-guarded surface car parks on Via Roma, Via Pintorno, and the multi-level parking lot, the fee is €40.00 and can be obtained by presenting a copy of the resident PASS, ID document, and the car’s registration book. For the subscription reserved for non-residents for the non-guarded surface car parks on Via Roma, Via Pintorno, and the multi-level parking lot, as well as the train station area, the fee is €90.00 per month. The subscription can be obtained upon written request of the subscriber, along with their ID document and the car’s registration book.

It is important to further clarify that the subscription is valid for one month and must be renewed the day after expiration. Only one vehicle registration belonging to the same subscriber can be included in the subscription.
