We are talking about the Oratory of the Holy Sacrament, which was built in 1688 and initially served as the headquarters of the white confraternity that was part of the Church of Purgatory.
At the base, you can see a block of limestone with an inscription on it, while the facade features a staircase and two sculpted twin portals, topped by a circular window in which the tympanum with three windows is situated, one of which houses the bell.
The Church of Purgatory, also known as the Church of St. Stephen, is located in a small square off Corso Ruggero. The church got its name because inside there is a crypt with the bodies of members of the black confraternity, or the suffering souls in purgatory.
